Battery Monitors
The DVA Controls Flight Battery Monitor is the definitive answer to monitoring your receiver power usage while the model is In Flight and In Real Time. This means the actual Current, Voltage and Capacity being used can be clearly seen.
The Flight Battery Monitor can be positioned it two main locations.
Either - In-line with the receiver battery where it the monitors the total battery usage, the capacity used, peak currents and, of course, the battery voltage.
OR - In-line with a servo, where it monitors the servo current and voltage. This gives an instant diagnostic of the load on that servo and warning of the servo binding or being too small for the flight loads on it. Similarly it will let you know if a servo is unnecessarily large for the job, allowing you to replace it with a smaller lighter servo, directly saving weight and possibly allowing a lighter battery to be carried.
The B1201 low battery alert warns when the aircraft battery is becoming discharged while the model is In Flight and before you would otherwise know.
The results are transmitted from the aircraft in real time and displayed on a hand-held unit where they any alerts are immediately available to the pilot.
